Puppet Rooms

Theatrical, Fragile, Haunted

One Shot Storytelling is a project that explores the image as a proto-narrative form, capable of suggesting the beginning of a story without explicitly telling it.

This set, titled Puppet Rooms, delves into environments that resemble small theatres or intimate rooms, inhabited by anthropomorphic figures, puppets, and symbolic objects.

These scenes, inspired by puppet theatre and dreamlike representations, create a dialogue between the real and the artificial, exploring the boundaries between the human being and its representation.

The aesthetic of Puppet Rooms is defined by the use of confined, carefully composed spaces with strong scenographic intent. Lighting plays a key role, with soft glows and deep shadows contributing to a mysterious and introspective atmosphere. The color palettes vary, but often favor tones that intensify the sense of inner tension and stillness.

In these images, puppets and animated objects serve as visual metaphors, representing aspects of the unconscious, memory, and identity.
