My Experience with GenAI
This is a chronicle of the journey started on July 8, 2022, when I tried Midjourney for the first time and I knew that the way we create, visualize, and tell stories was entering a new era. And I wanted to be part of it.
July 8, 2022: The Beginning of Everything

From that moment on, I immersed myself in exploring and studying AI tools, testing their limits, and pushing my creative boundaries. Here, I collect my experiments, discoveries, and the evolution of my work with AI-driven visuals. It’s a space where I document not just what I create, but how my approach and understanding of these tools continue to evolve.

Prometheus – A tribute to Mary Shelley
You may not know this,
but my nickname—Miss Shelley, which appears from time to time—has everything to do with her, with Mary, writer and wife of Percy Bysshe Shelley.
For years, I’ve been collecting different editions of her most famous novel, first published in 1818: Frankenstein – The Modern Prometheus.
And how could I not connect this literary masterpiece to the present moment?
The story of Frankenstein is an invitation to reflect on the moral implications of our actions when we create new beings, new scenarios, and new lives—while striving to make them, especially our own, last longer.
This desire to emulate a creator has echoed through history, from the myth of Prometheus to today, where it feels more relevant than ever.

Crafting a Story in a Single Frame
Coming from photography and a love for literature and storytelling, every time I create an image—whether it’s a photo, an illustration, or made with traditional techniques—I always strive to give it a narrative. Even when static, an image can tell a story if it contains all the right elements and if they are placed correctly.
Another essential aspect for me, before moving on to animation, is attention to detail. Even when I used to photograph, I would remove any distracting elements during editing to enhance the narrative. Now, with AI-generated images, this need has become even stronger.
